Hello Everyone,

Greetings from Lima, Perú.

I am so excited to tell you that Materia Prima youth camp was amazing. We had a good time there. It has been such a different experience for me, I was en charged of organizing it. The experience was awesome! I had an amazing team who helped me with all the details, decorations, outreach set up and promotion.

In the past we did it with the help, financial support and guidance of Pittsburgh YWAM base, but this year we did it ourselves. We have learned so much from them and I am so thankful of being part of them and now, being able of doing it.

Materia Prima has the same heart of knowing God and making him know, but it is design for Peruvians to Peruvians. Wanting to raise up our own people and challenge them to go deeper with the Lord and believe in the great calling God has given to the Peruvians.

We had 20 young Peruvian from all over Lima. The first five days we taught them how to listen God’s voice trained them on sharing and defending their faith, taught them some dramas and dances, ministering and spending time with them.

After that time, we split in two teams for the outreach phase. My team ministering in the south part of Lima: in Surco and San Juan de Miraflores. We had a good time there. We went to different plazas, markets, busy streets, door to door preaching the gospel. They were so passionate about God that they didn’t miss any opportunity of sharing God’s love to the people.

The last night I was there, I started talking with a girl who was really seeking God but she didn’t know how or where to find him. So, I started talking about how is really God to me and my relationship with Jesus. She was so ready to accept Him. She just needed someone to explain her. It was cool to be used by God allowing me to share with her about God. I know that was something that God prepared for her: a divine appointment.

In those 7 days we had 672 salvations in both teams. It was a great time! We not only share God’s love to the people but also we took time to listen to the kids and ministering to them one by one.

Now, we are planning on take 8 of them to the Amazon of Peru, Colombia and Brazil. I am so excited to take this team of young Peruvians to the Nations. This is one of my dreams coming true.

I need your prayer and support for this great challenge because this is going to be my first time leading an oversea trip. I ask you for your prayers for me and my brother who will be leading the team. Pray for our safety and open hearts to share God´s love to people in the communities in Peru and in Colombia and Brazil.

Newsletter Summer

    Greetings from Lima, Perú!

It has been so long since the last time I wrote you. I have been quite busy hosting teams from YWAM and getting ready for our summer missionary camp.

I would like to tell you all the great things God has been doing with Youth with a Mission in our country.

This past December we had our “North Cone Ywam Conference” in Lima. It was an awesome time with all the YWAMers from Venezuela, Ecuador, and Colombia. Also, it was a time of reaffirming the northern zone leadership’s commitment with the pioneering of Ywam Lima. There are 10 staff who work with YWAM Lima.

imageRight now, we are getting ready for our summer missionary camp called: Materia Prima, (Raw Material) which will last 12 days.  We will start this Tuesday 26th and go until February 7th. The first 5 days we are going to train between 40 and 50 young people from different churches in Lima and surrounding cities. Then, we will take them on a week of outreach working with the local churches preaching the gospel. In those 12 days we want to see God doing amazing things in the lives of these young people and we know He will use them to bring people to His Kingdom.

This time of getting ready for “Materia Prima” has been very stressful, but God has surprised us greatly. We received a donation of a sound system and medical kits and we have the spiritual support from the Pittsburgh and Boston YWAM bases. We are so grateful to them because, even though they are not here with us this year, they are supporting us with their prayers. They have believed in us from the beginning, Materia Prima has been born from all their years of coming to Peru.

After this camp, we are planning on going to an international trip to The Amazon. We want to challenge the kids to believe in God for greater things. We feel this is the time for Peruvians to go out into the Mission Field. God has placed in our hearts to go to the borders of Perú, Colombia, and Brazil, reaching out to the native communities with the Gospel of Christ.

    Prayer Request:

  • ·For Materia Prima camp, to be a great time where God will reveal his purposes and calling to all the young Peruvians and that they may be used to bring the Good News of Jesus.

  •  For our International Outreach. That God will provide the finances for the staff and the youth. Also, for safe travel to the Amazon as well as the native communities that will be going to. (February 27th till March 10th)

  • · For a revival among the Peruvian young people and passion to fulfill the Great Commission.

August and September

Hello Friend and family!
Greetings from Lima, Peru!

I am so excited to tell you what I have been doing in the past months. I am so sorry for not writing you sooner, life here in Lima is quite busy.
At the end of August, we (YWAM Lima) organized our first youth missionary retreat called MATERIA PRIMA, PORQUE LOS PERUANOS SOMOS CALIDAD DE EXPORTACION (RAW MATERIAL, BECAUSE PERUVIANS ARE EXPORT QUALITY). We believe that is the time for Peruvians to go and bless the nations. We have been so blessed through other nations, and we are sure that is our time to bless them as well.
Our main goal was to let them know that each of them has a specific calling to serve God either doing missions full time or within their job or school. We believe in them and in the great calling that God has place on them. We had two days of training and ministry to them and one day of doing street evangelism.

For me, Materia Prima has meant a lot, one of my biggest dreams has come true. It is a retreat from Peruvians to Peruvians. I feel like this is my little baby because I am en charge of organizing it, and God has blessed me with a wonderful team who has been helping to make it possible. Without them, it wouldn´t come true.
I know this is just the beginning of many great things that God will do in Lima and all over Peru. I am so grateful of having you as my partners in this and thank you so much for investing and believing in me and my people. It encourages me to keep moving forward for bigger things in Lima.

September has been a crazy month as well. Besides, organizing Materia Prima, I am en charge of connecting YWAM teams with local churches in Lima and this month we had lots of teams coming from all over the world. So, I have been very busy making phone calls, getting in contacts with pastors and even host teams in my house. But it has been so great to help the big YWAM family.

Now, I am planning and working on having Materia Prima in the summer for 2 weeks. I am sad to tell you that we are not going to have Joshua Generation Peru because we want to consolidate and grow our ministry in Lima. So, YWAM Pittsburgh decided not to come this year and release us to work in Lima. We feel that the time has come for YWAM Lima to grow and have our own program design from Peruvians to Peruvians. I feel like Materia Prima is the fruit of JG, it has been born from all those year of doing JG Peru.

So, thank you one more time for standing with me with your prayers and financial support to see more young Peruvians fulfilling great things for the Lord.

Anita Ausejo.
